TYCO SUZUKI MX ANNOUNCED AT MOTORCYCLE LIVE

28th November 2011

As the UK's biggest motorcycling event celebrated everything great about the world of off-road last Saturday, as part of a special themed day at Motorcycle Live at the NEC in Birmingham, Suzuki took to the main stage, unveiling its 2012 Tyco Suzuki MX team.

Operated by the renowned TAS Team from Northern Ireland, 2012 sees a new title sponsor and two new riders with an all-new look, thanks to the backing of Security specialists Tyco and the signing of 2009 British Champion Stephen Sword and Irishman Stuart Edmonds.

Announced on the main stage at the NEC on Saturday, Sword and Edmonds also unveiled the new team colours , with a freshly prepared RM-Z450 taking to the stage too.

Team manager, Adam Lyons, commented,  "Naturally we're delighted to announce our final plans for 2012 and especially pleased to be able to launch it on the main stage at an event as big as Motorcycle Live. Stephen was confirmed as our MX1 rider a while back but to complete the line-up with Stuart in MX2 and confirm our new title sponsor at the same time is great. In Stuart we have a young, keen but experienced rider, who is already familiar with the RM-Z250 too and I am sure will be challenging up the front. Stephen is a class-act who needs no introduction and gives us a very strong team for our second year back in the sport."

The team continue winter testing, ready for their first competitive action in the new year in the remaining rounds of the British Supercross Championship, before beginning their campaigns in the Maxxis British Motocross Championship and the Red Bull Pro Nationals series.
