How to benefit from the Suzuki Parts-Only Warranty - applicable to the UK only.

This Warranty is expressly a Parts-Only Warranty intended to cover only manufacturing defects for a period of 1-year from sale to the first owner/user. It is recommended that the motorcycle is serviced by an Authorised Suzuki Motorcycle Off-Road Dealer in accordance with the maintenance schedule. Cover does not include damage or loss caused by racing or competition use.

If you experience a problem with your machine during its Warranty period the machine should be taken to your Authorised Suzuki Motorcycle Off-Road Dealer for the problem to be investigated.

It is preferable that you use the Off-Road Dealer from whom you purchased the machine but if this is not possible any Authorised Suzuki Motorcycle Off-Road Dealer will be pleased to help you.

It is most important that you describe the problem as carefully and precisely as possible. Your Off-Road Dealer will then be able to advise you whether the repair is within the scope of the Parts-Only Warranty Agreement and if so make arrangements for the work to be carried out. It Is Important that you always take your Parts-Only Warranty Booklet with you to show to the Off-Road Dealer. It specifically identifies your machine detalls, its service history and Parts-Only Warranty start date.

The Parts-Only Warranty

What is covered?

If a defect, fault or failure develops which is attributable directly to the original manufacturing process, the parts) Will be supplied by an Authorised Suzuki Motorcycle Off-Road Dealer free of charge. This is providing the service schedule has been adhered to as evidenced by the correctly stamped service record in this booklet, and the motorcycle has not been modified or had non Suzuki Genuine Parts fitted that directly or indirectly affect the failed part.

What is not covered?

Wear on items such as brake and clutch linings, spark plugs, oil, tyres, filters, batteries and chains and any other parts which require routine replacement, or functions which require routine service or maintenance adjustment unless the part fails as a direct consequence of faulty manufacture. Only parts are covered by this limited warranty, there is no labour contribution or consequential losses however caused. The owner is responsible for all transport of the motorcycle to and from the Dealer.

Parts-only Warranty Periods

All Suzuki Off-Road Motorcycles benefit from a 1-Year/unlimited hours manufacturer's Parts-only Warranty. The period commences from the date of sale or the date upon which the machine was first used, eg as a demonstration machine, whichever occurs first and which date is shown at the front of your booklet.
